Rubiolo aka Rubio, is my sweet and cuddly dark red Golden. He was born in May 2022 and has been a delight. He is the Master Retriever around our house while also holding the title of the Friendliest Lap-Dog & Cuddle-Bug by our in-house unofficial judge: Me! Not only does he love to retrieve his toys and drop them right at your feet, he loves to roam around the yard squeaking his favorite teddy bear, seemingly to get a laugh! At just 6 months old, he had earned all three of the 3 Canine Good Citizenship titles, and his first Trick title.
He is the first stud of our own here at Wine Country Goldens, and we couldn’t be more proud! He has shaped up to be an amazing addition to our breeding program…
Rubiolo has passed OFA testing for Hips, Elbows, Heart & Eyes,
Certified by Specialists in their field. His DNA testing has been done (all clear), and most impressively: Rubiolo has scored Right .28 DI and Left .29 DI as per his PennHip testing! That’s WITHIN THE TOP 5% OF GOLDEN RETRIEVERS’ HIPS THEY HAVE TESTED (& the best I have ever seen!) Those are the genetics that are highly desired and NEEDED to better the breed! Our Repro Vet Specialist has commented on his beauty, temperament & health (including the quality of his sperm). He is available to approved females!

“Blue” is a beautiful lustrous cream-colored AKC American Champion Golden Retriever who lives in Massachusetts. He is of European descent & has been shown at the prestigious Morris & Essex Kennel Club Show and the well-known Westminster Kennel Club Show, just to name a few. He meets the Golden Retriever standard of 78 lbs. and he has inherited deep black pigment to contrast his beautiful creamy coat.
Did someone say polar bear? Notably self-confident, friendly, intelligent, and intuitive makes him, not only a winner in the show ring but also a beloved champion & constant companion to his owner.
